Cody "Max" Edwards
President
Mr. Edwards is the quintessential market architect. With a diverse background in retail, media, technology, and product innovation, he has been the driving force behind strategies vital to dozens of companies. Mr. Edwards was instrumental in the development of the framework behind Kicks Coffee, a gourmet coffee retailer featured in Fortune Magazine and on the MSNBC Today Show. Today, he has focused his talents on crafting a national coffee brand to serve, employ, and empower Veterans through opportunity and ownership.
Prior to joining Thinkubator, Mr. Edwards served in a multitude of capacities for the fourth largest cable operator in the United States, Cox Communications. A Fortune 500 corporation with over 20,000 employees and 6 million subscribers, Cox represents a significant influence on content production and distribution, advertising, broadband, telephone, television, multiple state operations, business services, and government and employee relations across the US. In his time with Cox, Mr. Edwards contributed key cross-functional input, one of a very few elite professionals to lend his expertise both locally and nationally. Spanning over 22 systems, he participated in vital projects representing crucial importance to the Company’s profitability, efficiency, strategy, and market position. For over ten years, Mr. Edwards contributions included nearly every aspect of operations, including: marketing; sales; information technology; human resources; government relations; field operations; equipment deployment; product and service innovation; call center operations; employee management; mobile device strategy; media production; advertising; video on demand; broadband; finance; security; billing; collections; software licensing; tool development; knowledge management; user interfaces; VOIP systems; data management; reporting strategies; efficiency assessment; vendor relations; strategic partnerships; and technical support strategies.
In addition to functioning in various executive roles across the expanse of Thinkubator projects, Mr. Edwards partnered with various independent studios on the development of feature films, prime time television series, broadcast commercials, and other media used to showcase Thinkubator holdings, partners, and strategic concepts. In addition, he has consulted with Cheong Tat Corporation and Gold Leaf Holdings, advising on and facilitating corporate footholds both to and from the United States, China, Canada, and Mexico, among others. Mr. Edwards also worked to secure positions for foreign broadcasters to air television, radio, and web content in mainland China.
Mr. Edwards has also worked independently as a recording engineer, graphic artist, computer graphics and 3D animation designer, an IT systems and networking consultant, web designer, and as a writer, producer, and director on various media projects. As a result, Mr. Edwards benefits from a full spectrum of multi-industry experience, comprising a powerful core of technical knowledge and creative talent - a founding visionary at the heart of Thinkubator, Inc.
