Ms. Karen Weinberg began her professional life in the world of finance. Quickly emerging as a rare combination of creativity, business savvy, and prowess in mathematics, she was soon managing large teams of elite professionals for one of the most respected names in accounting, Deloitte. In addition to the oversight of billion dollar signature clients like SAP, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Merck, Hershey, and Clorox, Ms. Weinberg was also responsible for innovative and precise national tax strategies that resulted in multi-million dollar ROI for her clients.
Ms. Weinberg was one of only a select few Senior Tax Managers who was also capable of assuming a concurrent Business Development role. Because of her unique combination of talents, Ms. Weinberg was often recruited internally to oversee complex, cross-functional projects. Among these, she developed and implemented trade show and convention logistics, managed key client and media relationships, contributed to marketing strategy, converted sales, crafted budgets, and reviewed critical path events requiring meticulous attention to detail.
After Deloitte, and following her highly successful time with Price Waterhouse, Ms. Weinberg decided upon a change. Embracing her entrepreneurial spirit, a love of design, and a passion for animals, Karen co-founded a pet products company of her own: Laughing My Tail Off, LLC.
Responsible several patent-pending pet products, Ms. Weinberg rapidly became an industry notable with her co-invention of the Laughing Leash®. Named Dog World Magazine’s 2010 Product of the Year, the Laughing Leash® campaign became so popular it was included in the 2009 Celebrity Gift Box for Christmas in Hollywood - an exclusive collection reserved for media icons like Oprah Winfrey, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Sarah Jessica Parker, Salma Hayek, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
