Mr. Dennis DeMolet is the premiere expert in Veterans’ Business Affairs. As an active proponent for disabled veterans, small businesses, and non-profit organizations, Mr. DeMolet has been repeatedly honored with numerous accolades and awards. In 35 years of dedicated service, his intricate understanding of veterans’ business affairs, combined with boundless enthusiasm, energy, and an unrivalled reputation, have led directly to a series of highly influential political committee appointments. This exclusive access to key leadership in government, industry, and academia has served Mr. DeMolet through his National Chairmanship of the Advisory Committee for Veterans’ Business Affairs, his history with the Fortune 100, and his contributions to pivotal change in government policy.
Mr. DeMolet has worked with industry leaders in both the private and public sectors, including Digital Equipment Corporation, Hughes Aircraft Division, Raytheon Systems, Systems Development Corporation, the National Air Intelligence Center, and the U.S. Air Force.
After being burned severely in Vietnam while attempting to protect fellow soldiers from a fire, Mr. DeMolet received the Navy Commendation Medal. A few years later, he had transformed his injury into action, being named Ohio Disabled Veteran of the Year in 1978. Working with Veterans' organizations as Chairperson for the Disabled Veterans Outreach Program, Mr. DeMolet also created and hosted radio and television programs supporting Veterans in the work force.
In 1998, Mr. DeMolet established DeMolet Consulting to assist private companies in establishing a presence within federal and state government. Concurrently, as an active member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Mr. DeMolet acts as the local Director of Corporate Membership. Mr. DeMolet also serves on the Small Business Committee for AFCEA International, has been named International AFCEAN of the Month, and was honored with the Meritorious Service Award for 2001. Further, Mr. DeMolet serves on the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee, is a Board Trustee for the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association, and was selected as a 2001 Federal 100 Award Winner by Federal Computer Week.
Mr. DeMolet continues to advocate for Veterans, speaking on radio programs to increase awareness, counseling Veterans on business opportunities, working with the National Veterans’ Business Development Corporation, lobbying for disabled veteran owned enterprises, serving as President of the National Military Intelligence Association, Ohio Chapter, and drafting legislation to assist Veterans in Ohio and across the United States. His tireless efforts earned him the title of 2003 Veteran Small Business Advocate of the Year from the United States Small Business Administration.
From serving as the first Disabled Veterans Outreach Representative Chairman for Ohio in the 1970’s, to leading the Veterans Readjustments Act for Preble County, Ohio in the 1980’s, Mr. DeMolet has deftly navigated both the political and business environments crucial to effecting change and achieving tangible results. His inspired strategic positioning and remarkable solutions have continually proven the answer - resolving challenges inherent to the interaction of Government agencies and private industry. In so doing, Mr. DeMolet has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for Veterans’ Homes by the Governor of Ohio.
