David Gerety
Former Sales Director, Google, Inc.

Mr. Gerety has been in senior executive sales positions with several technology companies and has a track record of delivering results with overall product sales in excess of $20 million. He is adept in professional communications and presentations. He has recruited, built and managed extensive sales teams for the organizations he served.

Mr. Gerety's most recent experience has been with Google, Inc., where he served as Western Regional Sales Director from 2006 through 2009 in the Radio Automation Software division. He was responsible for all sales aspects of accounts from Minnesota to Guam. Prior to joining Google, Inc., he held the same position at dMarc Broadcasting, which was acquired by Google for $102 million in 2006. dMarc introduced automated ad insertion to the radio industry through its revolutionary AdSense For Audio program.

Prior to his experience at dMarc Broadcasting he served as the Director of Sales for Scott Studios. The Scott Studios brands were the SS32 and Maestro digital automation systems. Scott Studios acquired Computer Concepts Corp. in 2001 and continued to develop that company’s advanced Maestro automation. As Scott Studios, dMarc and Google, these products commanded a remarkable 35% market share of the radio space in the United States, and over 60% market share in Canada.

Prior to his tenure at Scott Studios, dMarc and Google, Mr. Gerety served as the Vice President of Sales for Systemation Corporation, a radio automation company, from 1985 - 1992, where he was responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for the U.S. Previous to his experience at Systemation Corporation, Mr. Gerety held the following positions: General Sales Manager for Satellite Music Network (now part of ABC Radio Networks); Account Executive for McLendon Broadcasting; and many years with AMC Theatres, building new multiplex theatres and handling all advertising and publicity for 102 movie screens in the Southeastern U.S.

Mr. Gerety is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Gerety serves as part of Thinkubator's Technology Review Team in addition to assisting Thinkubator with introducing select clients to Google for review.
