Bert Klimer
CEO
CG Composites Corporation
Mr. Klimer serves as the CEO of CG Composites Corporation, which licensed a commercial composite foam technology which was developed at the University of Southern California. This composite material is used in sandwich structure applications and offers improved structural performance through significant improvements in mechanical properties and fracture resistance.
Prior to founding CG Composites Corporation, Mr. Klimer has been one of four partners at U.S. Brokerage Inc., a Columbus, Ohio based NASD registered broker-dealer with various institutional clients as well as retail. Since joining U.S. Brokerage in 1996, the firm has grown from one small office to a national firm with offices located from coast to coast in ten states.
Prior to becoming a partner in U.S. Brokerage Inc., Mr. Klimer served as a Senior Advisor for InCuBUD, Inc. a business development consulting firm where he advised the company’s clients in business development and capital raising through private placement memorandums. Mr. Klimer advice assisted a few of InCuBUD's clients in completing Initial Public Offerings on the NASDAQ market and two clients that were acquired directly by currently public entities.
In addition, to his venture investing and advisory roles for various ventures, Mr. Klimer is the President of an Alabama non-profit corporation which has increased assets substantially since assuming the role in 2002 and resulted in the increases of donor numbers annually.
Mr. Klimer's advisory role is to assist Thinkubator's clients in financing strategies as well as assist in the private equity financings of select portfolio holdings.
